If necessary, install a "climate-proof" door between the garage and workshop. A wet car next door and tools / stored goods simply do not get along well in winter.
Garden tools are okay though.

Thank God we are starting construction right after the winter... After staking out the house, we actually changed something again....

The garage and the driveway (then 5.99) will each be one meter shorter to move the whole house further west. Simply because on the east side we were only 3 meters away from my parents' driveway, and we didn’t want them to sneak the sandwich off the plate on the terrace while driving past :P

to give a final statement here once again.

So far, we are very satisfied, but I would do 3 small things differently:

- After the district office rejected the height of the house, we pushed the house further into the ground. But after that, no one had on their mind anymore that we would no longer connect to the sewer as planned. Now it's a bit difficult because we have to go into a district road.
- I would do the door to the main bathroom and the layout differently. It fits, but it could be better.
- I should not have shortened the garage by 1m but only by 0.5m. A 5.5m garage length feels a bit too short.

But that's it then. We also changed the windows on the north side from "normal" to narrow and wide (e.g., in the living room to 2mx076m) and that looks really good.
