Well, the floor plan has been - since the beginning of the thread "Very first draft of a ground floor" (or whatever it was called) - successively discussed in all sorts of details. The quality of the outcome of this discussion cannot be fully preserved by a mirroring, because the two dimensions "where the rooms are best arranged in relation to each other" and "where they are best located according to the cardinal direction" are intertwined. Much of what was said then no longer applies after a mirroring. From my point of view, a not insignificant part of the development maturity would be lost if you mirror it. Seeing the garage as a separately planned unit could solve this - possibly by the trick of turning the double garage, for example, into a single garage on one side and a carport on the other side. In any case, an outbuilding would rather be my maneuvering mass for a sacrificial pawn than turning a well-discussed main building inside out. By the way, a few weeks ago I was still firmly hoping that your next sign of life would be (soon expected) photos of the floor slabs :-(

Does it change that much? Apart from the living room, all other changes seem marginal and related to functionality, right? Whether the bedroom and the small bathroom or the children's room are swapped on the upper floor is, in my opinion, not dramatic, just as the east/west orientation of the kitchen and dining area does not necessarily have advantages or disadvantages for me. The only valid criticism is the living room. But since I gain 10m more distance from the street with it, I find that a good trade-off.

The base slab will only be available in March. But digging has already been done as a test.

Please flip your plans onto the property and also flip the [OG]... I can't see everything well on my phone.

I don't have the original plans yet, as the architect was on vacation until yesterday. I'll make a sketch tomorrow.

What does it look like if you mirror the house diagonally or rotate it around the center so that the garage is attached as a boundary development on the north side and the driveway is from the west. I would simply try all 4/8 possibilities
