Choosing the larger shower tray because of the flow rate is nonsense. What's more important here is whether the corresponding drain can handle it. But that is then the responsibility of your plumber to take into account.

Apart from that, 26 l/min is not unusual now, so I assume that it won't be a big deal. Our shower channel, for example, has a drainage capacity of 41 l/min.

The drain can handle that. I arranged that at the Reuter Bath Shop. I was more concerned that we don't want a shower cabin, and I think that with only 120 length, it will spray onto the tiles.

Even with 140cm length, you won't be able to avoid splashes on the tiles. The "magic limit" for splash water is usually around 160-170cm.

Ok, that would be feasible but only with a narrow entrance. Would you do that with my bathroom layout?

Oh, no double sink after all?

The half octagonal column at the end of the shower belongs to a different decade (and to a Weberhaus).

How far it splashes will hardly be reduced by narrowing the entrance; the spray cone is elongated and axisymmetric. It could rather be reduced by adjusting the height and angle of the showerhead.

No, that was never planned either. Unfortunately, the architect had not yet removed the washbasin from the planning documents. I have asked again now. They initially included a double washbasin, apparently because many people want that.
