My wife does not want to move the washbasin downwards. Accordingly, the solution with the slanting of the wall does not come into play.

I believe that among the options

a) reduce the shower back to 1m
b) take a bathtub 180x80
c) reduce the bedroom

option a) is then the smallest compromise. I also think that 1 meter width already seems generous. I just visualized it. I tend to a 100x140 shower tray. I believe that is the most sensible, and even then the passage between the washbasin and the bathtub is not great.

Although the topic brought up earlier here seems interesting to me again now. The big problem here is only that no pipes can be laid into the exterior wall. I think that is due to the Poroton bricks, but I don’t remember exactly. I would have to ask. But surely this can be solved by a raised floor construction, and there is enough lengthwise space. I could imagine that with this layout you might get everything done, a large tub, a wide shower, and a washbasin that doesn’t feel cramped.

The shift is not a condition for that, but of course the slanting brings the strongest effect.

And it should look like in the picture? – so not freestanding like that, but already this combo of prison shower – tomorrow precisely because it is old-fashioned, since today especially hip – and hand shower next to it?

I suspect you take the prison (or if you like bathing establishment) shower and your wife is a little less tall and takes the hand shower?

Keep in mind that the spray range also has to do with the distance from water outlet to head height.

No, I only posted that to show how "open" we are now showering.

We now have a completely different combination:
a ceiling-mounted overhead shower, a small handheld shower wand, and a wall-mounted waterfall showerhead.

We will either do it in 100x140cm or the floor plan just sketched, if at all feasible.

I actually thought that you were showing that - what does the photo show instead?

It looks fitting to me.

Sorry, poorly phrased. The photo shows how we shower now. What I described is the desired setup for the new master bathroom - the "new combination". I wrote nonsense.

Then I will try to implement it that way tomorrow. If that's still possible, since quite a bit would have to be changed in the ventilation and drainage planning for that.

Here is another idea that I just tried to draw. Here you don't have this T that makes you so inflexible. You can still slide the terrace door
