I also like the arrangement of the rooms.

However, I would change 3 (partly repeatedly mentioned) points:

1. The pantry as a passage room. Maybe the part under the stairs could be used as a cloakroom, the part on the outer wall as a built-in cupboard/pantry, and in between create the connecting corridor from the hallway to the kitchen.
If you absolutely don’t want that, then better walk further.

2. I don’t like the furnishing of the kitchen. I would probably place the peninsula rather on the back wall of the stairs and plan an L-shaped wall unit to go with it.

3. I would also move the door to Child1 away from the door so that the bed is away from the window.

From the wall. Move the door away from the wall.

I’d rather put the shower there :)

Doesn’t matter, niches are always great :)

We only have about 4 meters of corridor length, then comes the dining area with the dining table – no door and all that.
After that we have the stairs with a gallery going up...
Fits perfectly, we feel comfortable after partially covering the windows in the front door with some adhesive film ;)
I would build it that way again, and these days you don’t need a windbreak anyway :)
It’s definitely warm and will be in your case too!!!

Regarding sight lines: the garden should adapt to the windows and viewing positions – not the other way around, as Wanderdüne suggests.
Make sure to capture potential and lay out accordingly.

That reminds me of my questions from the first page of the thread.....?????? Will they still be answered??? :)

In addition (I knew I had forgotten something ;)) Such planning details are small things, yet highlights that enhance not the floor plan, but the living value. For us, exactly this has emerged under the open staircase in the living area, because there we will install shelves in a custom-fit niche. Access to these shelves is under the open staircase - difficult, yet a visual treat - not necessary, but it will be nice for selected decorations.... :)

YPG denies with her statement the possibility of integrated planning of floor plan and garden, please don't believe that, (not only) good planners can fortunately do that. ;)

My criticism was, by the way, about sightlines that only inadequately allow interior-exterior relationships, regardless of garden design.

I agree, but the interior view shows a shelf that only starts at least 80 cm behind the front edge of the fireplace. This could be realized more beautifully, but it is probably already outdated.
