I’m not eco, quite the opposite. I don’t care about any of that. I would even drive with plutonium if it were cheaper.
Still have photovoltaics, storage, an electric car, and a heat pump.

You’re the first person in my life who says electricity prices will go down. I need more people like you :)

Considering the ever-decreasing feed-in tariff, I agree with you that it probably no longer pays off financially. But how do you come to the opposite assumption in times of ever-increasing electricity prices and say that they will go down?

You will have to read up on that yourselves. In short: the electricity price will move sideways from 2025 onwards – if it stays the same and inflation rises, it will become cheaper.

Okay, I have read up on the BMWi website and understood it as well. The Renewable Energy Sources Act surcharge will gradually disappear from 2025 onwards. The continued increase in the pure electricity price will then be offset by the phasing out of the Renewable Energy Sources Act surcharge until around 2040/2050. This is the outlook of the BMWi as of 2014. However, we also know that quite a bit has happened since then regarding energy and environmental policy (not all for the better). I don’t believe that electricity in Germany will ever effectively become cheaper in the next 50 years. I’ll just mention the current annual CO2 levy: the political class will surely come up with something to turn us into genuine electricity-saving monsters. There are no limits to their creativity with levies when it comes to supposed environmental protection.

That may be true - but photovoltaics just aren’t profitable. Just like KFW40 plus. People, you can overdo it.
