Why SolarEdge is in the offer, especially regarding the size?

The solar company offered it that way, I didn't have a manufacturer in mind, they just work with them. Are they particularly expensive?

Especially good and especially expensive. Unless you have very strong shadows, but also especially unnecessary.

And let me tell you as someone with almost 30 kWp: EVERY photovoltaic system is too small! [/QUOTE]

I might have a stupid question now... sorry in advance.

It is or was always said maximum 10-11 and no more because of..... I don’t know..... is there nothing to it anymore?

Thanks in advance! :)

The statement was, don’t go just over 10 (because of the Renewable Energy Act surcharge, I think), but >13 was okay again ...

the lobby did a good job there o_O
There were always only "small hurdles" to consider. Never real obstacles to build a photovoltaic system larger than 9.9KWp. These small hurdles were at 9.9KWp and 29.9KWp. "Back then" it was actually not worth building systems between 10 and about 12 KWp. Today, if affordable: fill the roof, gladly 35KWp with 30KW inverter. North / South etc. with a roof pitch up to 35° almost always worthwhile. The "reasons" were always only tax-related, purely commercial aspects.

Currently up to 30KWp without Renewable Energy Act, and if more... who cares. You just pay the Renewable Energy Act levy but are still happy about every kWh generated and self-used.

P.S. My small 6.5KWp system usually provides me in summer with 80-90% of the required electricity (surplus) to drive about 1000km with the electric car. Still, of course, I would have liked more because in winter there is rarely any surplus
