Just a question about the excavation: there are farmers or forest owners or similar everywhere who would be happy to have soil to level a slope or something. Then you wouldn't have to pay disposal costs for the soil, only labor costs. Or is there a flaw in my thinking?

I tried it in my area. Both with familiar farmers and strangers.
They all said no, even for money.

I think nowadays people only do this under the table within the family circle. The possible penalties are too high. Basically, it is illegal disposal in the context of house construction.

We are currently building in a similar version with a basement in the slope, etc., with a slightly smaller floor area. The ground was very rocky with quite large boulders. These had to be broken down with a hydraulic hammer before removal. In total, 1,300 tons were excavated and transported to the landfill. Beforehand, about 50cm of topsoil was removed and stored on the property for further processing. Costs were just under €12,000 for excavation and transport, as well as €5,500 landfill fees. Depending on size and soil type, costs can quickly add up to €15,000 - €20,000.

Drew the original draft, replaced the stairs, and swapped the kitchen. External dimensions are 11.4 x 9.9m - rotated the whole box. I find the outside stairs with a second entrance for the postman and visitors nicer - but you can also leave it out. The depth of the open space lets sun into the house.

We are building on a very similar slope. Your basement could be perfectly used for bedrooms. Lighting is not a problem. Maybe you could also dig sideways to get light into the basement from two sides. Therefore, I ask, why does it have to be 3 floors? I would enlarge the footprint and omit the attic floor. Then make better use of the basement and move the children's rooms down there. Take the garage out of the thermal envelope and put it next to the house. You can still do the roof terrace on the garage as planned. Since the footprint will be larger, another room could go into the living floor, which would become the dining area. Then you could live on one level in old age. The wardrobe of course belongs in the basement. Overall, this layout could surely reduce the square meters.

Thank you very, very much for your sketches already! Your draft is definitely anything but bad!
