I would not choose a different light color in every room. We currently do not have a new lamp in every room yet and therefore still have many different single bulbs just in the sockets, also in different light colors. In the study, there is a 5000K lamp hanging, the light is simply terrible, I turn the lamp on as little as possible. In the kitchen and hallway, we have Philips LED spotlights with over 90 CRI and 3000K, they produce an absolutely great, bright, natural light. Then I have a few 2700K LEDs with CRI 80 and they are all ugly, artificially yellow-greenish. However, from Ikea I have 2700K LEDs (Ledare, they are called 600ll) above the dining table and they produce a nice, bright, and natural light. The problem with most LEDs, in my opinion, is the artificial yellow and green tint, except for these great Philips Master LED lamps and my Ikea LEDs.

Best regards
Sabine

First of all, you have daylight mixed in anyway, and secondly, that's not much different from having the same light temperature everywhere with different wall colors. And thirdly, all the colors in the field of view slightly influence the color calibration of the "perceived" vision. So, the result never looks lab-adjusted uniformly.

But there is an easier and above all cheaper solution. These are the "dimm to warm" from CV Lightning. We install 40 spots of them, connected directly to 230V and controllable with any common dimmer. They produce wonderfully natural light (color rendering of 90 Ra) and when you dim them, it almost warms your heart! Cost per spot: €20, it is a complete unit, only 3cm installation depth, and very well made. CV Lightning also offers GU10, E27, and many others in "dimm to warm"......

The solution you mentioned is certainly cheaper, but it only offers a range from 2,700K to 2,200K. Additionally, you cannot set the light color directly with it, but only "through dimming." If I want a specific light color at 100% (or 90% or 80%), then that is not possible.

Everyone has to decide for themselves.

Occhio is now also being discussed as a bedside lamp. The lighting designer recommends the Sospeso pendant lamp with gesture control.

Which Sospeso? Sospeso only means hanging at Occhio, right? So I guess the Sento....but seriously, as a bedside lamp 2x 1200€?!?
