He hasn't mentioned any prices yet. He wants to send an offer. They certainly won't make it to the nightstand at that price.

Tomorrow is the electrician appointment in the shell construction and I still don’t have a reasonable alternative for the bedside tables to the Occhio io 3d sospeso.

My wife and I don’t really like it and, moreover, it would be an extremely expensive compromise. I haven’t found an alternative pendant lamp for the bedside table. These hypermodern wall lights, which you can basically bend as you like, are not really our thing either. My wife already suggests whether we should just plug a normal 08/15 lamp into the socket and be done with it.

I actually tend to wall lamps. But I would only give the electrician the corresponding order if I have a suitable product for it. If anyone has good ideas for a bedside lamp, please go ahead.

I feel the same way, which is why just having one socket below each bedside table and then switchable should do. With KNX it shouldn’t be a problem for you either. With a wall switch nearby you have all possibilities, for example:
- normal click: turn the respective lamp on/off
- double click: turn both lamps on/off
- long click: panic mode -> lights on all over the house

Wall lamps would be too inflexible for me. What height, what distance from the bed, etc.
I have my eye on the Cini&Nils CuboLED at the moment. But I’m not 100% convinced yet. But something reduced, simple in this direction...

We have now found quite a few options after all. However, also wall / pendant.

Tom Dixon Copper Pendant Lamp 25

Vibia Palma LED Pendant Lamp or as a Wall Lamp

Although I can also well imagine the Tom Dixon in the kitchen, where we have two seats at the peninsula.

So I really like the Vibia Palma in both versions. Still, at €600 each, I feel strong inner resistance...
