I believe wants to point out that your planner simply does not include floor lamps, shelf lights, or other accessories in the concept, whereas from their perspective, exactly those are essential to lighting design.

Of course, no one is saying that it wouldn’t also work with those. Whether everything you can and want to realize works with only floor/shelf lamps, I dare to doubt. So why should a lighting designer artificially limit themselves here? I don’t understand the problem right now.

Here are a few examples of cozy lighting purely without the required floor lamps or shelf lamps:

And you can see how different the perception is. Especially the first two examples I do not associate with cozy lighting.

Both do not consider floor lamps. You don't need that, they say. We have no shelves; therefore, no shelf lights either.

We wrote about the Occhio Sento.

I wonder if the almost half as expensive Deltalight Vision LED wouldn't do just as well. It is in matte white, which I also like better.

That you can tilt the Sento, control it with gestures, etc.; I don't need any of that.

All good, I already wrote further up that coziness is very subjective. [emoji4] However, I would now be interested in what you find cozy. [emoji6]
