What do you think how a service provider survives if their orders usually correspond to the volume of one daily rate?

Of course, they also sell lamps!

Exactly. I haven't found a planner who only plans. They all have sales pressure on them. I also find that unfavorable but have no other solution. Actually, I want someone who just plans without having the DB for any types of lamps in mind. That it's all crunching during planning..... ooohh 20 spots x yield XYY.....

Basically, it's a very expensive offer preparation. But it's no different with electricians. They also don't offer a detailed KNX concept for free. They also charge for that, even if you don't commission them later.

Ahem, and why not? Just because you possibly can't imagine it doesn't mean it wouldn't work. Apart from the fact that coziness is not objectively measurable and therefore lies in the eye of the beholder, people who know about it show numerous examples with their designs proving that the statement is total nonsense in general. Just ask Aunt Google and be convinced.

Where I do agree with you: for atmospheric lighting you neither need expensive designer lamps nor ceiling spots or wall lamps, and thus no budget in the four- to five-figure range. That can also be done much cheaper, for example with Ikea.

For me, a lamp can also be a piece of furniture that can set an accent (eyecatcher) and illuminate atmospherically. That can also come cheap, but the selection might possibly be larger in a different price range.

Who can help put together an Ikea product package based on existing lighting planning? Everything has to fit.... the right power and so on.....

Without professional advice, I don't think it's possible without expertise.

Not my taste, just like the style of the staircase. However, it fits together here, whether you like it or not is probably more a personal question.

By the way, it looks like the Occhio Sento to me, which will go on the wall in my living room in matte white – chrome is not my thing at all.

The lamp head is rotatable, i.e. you can control the orientation of the light cone. The upper light output and lower output are separately controllable/dimmable (also via DALI). CRI is 97. Unfortunately not exactly cheap...

Don’t you have a sample of the tile? If yes, take it to the planner, let him come by to see the fixture/light source (at that price, that should be possible) and then have him test it. However, I think that the spotlight, for example in your bathroom, also reflects well off the wall and illuminates the room diffusely. If those aren’t black as well, that might work. But the planner does know your flooring and wall colors, right?
