The price is one thing, the low wattage the other. I now think that it is more of an ambient light than a bedside lamp.

The Tom Dixon, on the other hand, is great! But also not as a bedside lamp because it shines downward like that. It is perfect for the two seats in the kitchen.

I simply can’t make any progress with the bedside lamp. My wife doesn’t like all the functional lights; round designs, etc., usually don’t fit the functional requirements. I still quite like the Vivia I.Cono. My wife less so; but that would currently be the smallest common denominator without either of us being blown away by the lamp.

Is there nothing from Colani? - Carlo Ranserio has unfortunately become unaffordable since his death, even second-hand.

When you see the mentioned lamps, you also feel transported back a few years. In this respect, that is a good indication!
