Are you referring to your place now or are you referring to my suggestion?

Just briefly. I would make the bathroom lighting warm white, then rather cool white at the mirror. For me, the bathroom is a place of relaxation, which I couldn’t achieve with a clinical office lighting.

What surprises me about the absolute statement not to mix color temperatures: Every old-fashioned dimmed incandescent bulb, including halogen, always changes the color temperature with the brightness...

So that is also a feature for creating coziness. [emoji848]

He said the only thing he would deviate from the 2700 is the outdoor lighting and that only with 3000 K. But I don't want a campfire look outside, just a sober lighting of the house. In the garage, I simply need bright light.

But for checking the oil level, a little less than for repairing watches.

Yes, there are. It's called tunable white. Available as spots and strips. For that, you need the corresponding dimmer actuator (e.g., KNX) and assign two channels instead of one.

Or you use a standalone solution like Philips HUE.

We were just at Light&Building and noticed the company Lumitech. Especially in the area of HCL, a very, very interesting, but also not exactly cheap, option.
