That's how the general contractor architect must have "understood" it too. I understood it differently, and if my interpretation is "correct," it would be better phrased in "two parts," namely "no straight staircase," "and it should not start at the entrance either." What exactly is it about: the start "not feeling like it’s slammed right behind the door" or "technically not in the mud zone" (which in my opinion only exists here in the forum, I still belong to a generation that instinctively uses shoe scrapers, doormats & co.—simply because people used to make sure that Hans learns it when he’s little).I understood that you want a straight staircase, but it should not start at the entrance.
