Yes, start a new thread (and then post the link to it here), then the questionnaire will be in post #1 of the new thread.

I will as soon as I receive the first draft from the architect of the general contractor.

The employee said he understood our wishes, but I'm not so sure about that!

For example: I said I don't want a straight staircase to the upper floor that basically starts right at the house entrance. He already said something like "that will be difficult"...

He will be surprised once I reveal the changes after I've gathered ideas here.

And he's not entirely wrong. A straight staircase takes up a lot of space. And if you want a straight staircase that doesn't start at the entrance, that's not so simple.

How big is your house supposed to be?

I don’t want a straight staircase at all, I already said that. I want a staircase that is somewhere else, but not directly opposite the front door.

Friends of ours have that in their city villa too, I don’t like the staircase!

The idea would be up to 150 sqm, but if it ends up being 157 sqm, that’s fine too.

Sorry, then I misunderstood you.

I read that you want a straight staircase, but it should not start at the entrance.

no problem! Basically, I meant that I don't want a straight staircase, especially because those are usually quite close to the house entrance.

My idea looks more or less like the picture, of course adapted to the conditions (external dimensions, orientation, size, etc.).

The guest room would be our utility room, the guest toilet without a shower, no vestibule, and the small walls at the cloakroom should be removed if possible, to make it feel more open. The kitchen should be combined with the dining area and separated from the living room, possibly by sliding doors that run into the wall, or I once saw that you can set up a panoramic fireplace as a room divider ..

As I said, the picture reflects the idea; the dimensions probably don’t match.
