Is it possible to plan an eat-in kitchen with special requests in only 29 m²?

Well, I actually had to laugh, since the taste comes with building :p I also find your wishes quite space-consuming. In a small area, every corner and gap has to be filled, and even if you think that as a single person or couple you don’t need 7 pans and pots, you do need a small and a large pot, a small and a large pan, if you actually want to use the kitchen. And 2/4 plates take up exactly the same shelf space as 8 plates (height excluded), namely in diameter. I don’t want to paint a gloomy picture, but a gas bottle, this downdraft extractor, and the wish for floating elements, preferably Bulthaup style, simply take up a disproportionately large amount of space, which then is missing as storage room. But I’m happy to help you as well... I just wanted to start a 3D program, and I see that there is not 59 cm of space next to the window in the bottom left??? Is that correct? Anyway: could you please also write whether those are patio doors or half-height windows.. and also what you need the storage room for?

Well, actually I am now building a new house for the first time. I have been involved with conversions, extensions, repairs, and maintenance work on the old house since my childhood.

I increasingly like the idea of spending more time here on the beautiful and important things in life (my daughter with her husband and 3 grandchildren live only 150m away). In recent weeks, I have also been working towards having to work less in the future.

And I have dropped the bad habit of worrying about money ;)

So I am aware that compromises will have to be made here and there.

In the utility room, there will definitely be space for a floor-to-ceiling shelf at least 40cm deep and 1.5m wide.
But I can also imagine (to enlarge the kitchen space) for example partly recessing the oven in the wall of the utility room like this:

Otherwise, in the utility room: washer-dryer. Boxed in on the right side of the utility room for electrical distribution board and smart home technology, a cabinet about 70cm wide, 15cm deep, and 150cm high.

I don’t currently see any other necessities...

Unfortunately, during the planning process some centimeters seem to have disappeared between the terrace element and the wall. I’ll measure tomorrow to see what it really looks like now after the window installation. Originally, 65cm were planned...

Here also a very early plan of the plot so that the purpose of the south-facing view can be better recognized (after consultation with the neighbor on the right, a few small things have already changed). The location and orientation of the pool will also probably be slightly adjusted. The depicted wooden deck will be the sliding cover & upper insulation (lockable) of the pool. So it will be over the pool most of the time. The picture thus shows the “open” pool.

here are a few current pictures of the eat-in kitchen ... The first picture here is indeed from the upper floor, but the window element is the same on the ground floor (the door is the left element)

ok... now realistically look at your kitchen corner and what you need:

45 cm dishwasher, 60 cm sink cabinet, 60 cm small appliances and chopping aids (then you have 105 cm of workspace), 60 cm for KVA and other items to put down, (underneath Tupperware, bowls, cans), 60 cm stove (underneath spices, oils, food), 60 cm oven (whether floating or not, but at eye level), 60 cm fridge with freezer. Above the fridge a compartment for your decoration, candles and knick-knacks.
Now you still haven’t stored glasses, sets and napkins, cups and dishes. That could ideally go above the oven. Under the oven sweets drawer. There still remains a deficit for bread, bowls, cutlery, knives and boards... and what I don’t think of on the spot.
And now consider whether you can "afford" your built-in variant. I guess not. Basically, you rely on some kind of small "island." A little thing for cooking. Your utility room can’t catch everything either.
Make your highlight through the fronts and fittings, put on a nice thin countertop... The dining table can also be foldable and then stand in front of the intended extended hallway when you have guests... but you should definitely use the intended space to its full depth. Nothing is more annoying than cooking where you constantly have to rearrange or put things on the floor. No-go!

O.K. Sounds quite different than I thought in the meantime. But definitely not "I don’t like it at all"

I said it at the beginning too: I am open to "wow effect" suggestions. Often I only like things when someone explains them to me. I can probably decide if I like something but I don’t get there on my own. Man, you know.

Would you like to make me a nice suggestion with an "island"?

I can't find it anymore. On Pinterest, I came across a relatively long narrow table (beer bench dimensions). It stood right next to the sofa and was used like a counter. Moved away when guests came and used as a table. Then the multitask table in front of the sofa could be smaller. It has to go somewhere when guests are around.

The kitchen will probably end up as a single row + half island or a mobile kitchen island.
