Is it possible to plan an eat-in kitchen with special requests in only 29 m²?

That is - I think - independent of the buttons, because it beeps when something is placed on it. By the way, it can (partly) be turned off ;)

so my current (cheap Ikea induction cooktop) beeps when the wrong pots are on it, when the pots are not placed precisely enough, and of course also when you wipe the cooktop or touch area while it is wet.

I haven’t discovered any other beeping possibilities yet :D

Before, I/we cooked with gas for 20 years, the knobs were on top. But that was always difficult to keep clean (we often prepared Asian cuisine and cooked/fried with a lot of oil)

I expect (removable or retractable?) knobs or levers at the front to allow faster operation and easier cleaning.

Hopefully I am right about that. Can anyone share their experience?

The expensive ones do that too. But you can temporarily or/and partially turn off the beeping.
The beeping has nothing to do with the handling of control knobs, but with the "surface sensors," no idea what they are called. I mean the technology of the induction surface.

The easiest cleaning is when you only have sensors, no knobs.
For you, this removable knob would be an alternative... but it would still be a knob – the common induction hobs have nothing, only sensors. The handling is quite simple

Then it's about time to read the instruction manual. Mine only beeps when the touchscreen panel is covered. Wooden spoon, pot, oven mitt...front center, but you wouldn't believe how often I realize it during the cooking process

We have a Neff hob with the Twist Pad for controlling the 4 cooking zones. There are also a few touch switches, but I rarely use them. If you remove the Twist Pad, you can easily wipe everything clean, since except for the on and off switch, all are locked every 30 seconds.

Most cooktops have a lock mode for cleaning. Just turn it off with that and there will be no beeping. Very compact, ultra-comfortable and durable sofa - check out the Cassina Maralunga. It is somewhat pricey, but easily lasts 30 years or more.
