I am repeatedly positively surprised by Ikea and their hacks.

I was always dreading the washbasin because they are quite expensive. Back then, we ordered one from the internet because I simply am not willing to pay 2000 euros or more.
But seeing it like this here, I really don't care if I have to replace it someday.

I feel the same way as you . That money just regrets me. And if you pimp the Ikea stuff a bit, you can really make something out of it. I don't actually find the quality there that bad in general. I got the little cabinet for 29 euros because of an offer and using a promotion voucher. I don't care if I replace it in a year if I don't like it anymore, etc.

Hi, I'll join in here, fits the thread title.

We are getting a Villeroy & Boch Collaro double sink soon. The original base cabinet seems to be made of ivory and walrus baby molars at that price.

So the question is, has anyone combined the Godmorgon with a third-party "branded sink"?

The whole thing should merge pretty seamlessly on top, without a countertop or any other fuss.

Regards

We bought these here back then at Bauhaus (must be ordered though) They each hold 120kg. Our Godmorgen, but the small one, is mounted on the side under a 160cm countertop. The sink itself is attached to the pre-wall and inserted into the countertop. The brackets with the washbasin were drilled in for us by the craftsman back then for 50€.

I placed my cabinets on a square tube. I sawed the square tube at a 45-degree angle on both sides and then screwed it to the wall at the bottom near the floor, placed the cabinet on it, and screwed it to the wall at the top in the designated brackets.

Holds like a bomb.

I made the 45-degree cuts so that you can't see it anymore.

Although the bathroom is already finished, please show your square tube :)
