Thank you for the input. Regarding the upper cabinets, it should be added that on the left there will be an open corner with two shelf levels flush with the upper cabinet of the refrigerator. I could not plan this here. The splash guard is planned as a continuous glass panel along the north side. Ikea expert, how exactly can I imagine the refrigerator solution with the drawer? At the bottom a 20 cm drawer, above it the appliance with the two panels. However, the dimensions of the panels are larger than shown in the drawing of the refrigerator unit. Does that mean they are simply cut down, or how does it work? Sorry if the questions might seem a bit silly, but I have never put together a kitchen before.

Do you now also have open shelves? That would be too much cleaning for me.

With a 20 cm drawer underneath, it’s like without. The floor on which the combination stands is mounted at a height so that the middle between the appliance doors is at the height of the gap of the cabinet doors. The cabinet doors then protrude at the bottom and top.

Ah, I see, so the tall cabinet is reserved solely for the refrigerator then. OK.

Regarding the open shelves:
Yes, we currently have those as well and they are intended for decorative items and cookbooks, etc. There are only two shelves after all.
The coffee machine will find its place underneath. So an open corner.
We find a tall cabinet in the corner impractically placed and it doesn’t really look nice either.

A question regarding the NYTTIG separation for the cooktop:

How large is the cavity for the cooktop that Nyttig creates?
For our desired induction cooktop (Siemens EH845SP17E), an insertion depth of 53mm is required, and for air circulation, a minimum height of 65mm from the top edge of the countertop to the drawer overall.
Planned is a HAMMARP oak countertop with 28 mm. Will that work, or should we go for the Karlby countertop with 38 mm?

Approximately 4 cm. I have no use for KARLBY and other chipboard countertops with thin wood veneer.

Hi Ikea expert,

4cm gap from the bottom edge of the countertop to the board of the partition? With a countertop thickness of 28mm and the 40mm gap, according to Siemens' description 68mm would just be okay, or how do you see it?
