... probably you are right that X changes often do not make it better. It's also often called "to make something worse while trying to improve it."

But out of restraint towards the planner, I would never forego desired changes in my floor plan like "well, the floor plan is not nice, but before the planner has to change it again, we better leave it as it is and build what we don't want" -> I shake my head at that.

I didn’t mean the phenomenon that a patchpatchpatch does not replace a redesign. Rather, that the energy supplier placed their network terminal in the basement after Plan Release 7.11 in Plan Release 9.4. The garage, which was also supposed to serve as a driveway, had doors of different heights at the back and front. Every little detail was planned from a dozen perspectives, but the guest WC ventilation was bungled — not to mention the mailbox. Nobody should really imitate that.

Just the note that relaxing and wellness conflict with having a washing machine and dryer in the same room.

Well, based on the experiences we have had so far, it doesn't hurt to be a bit more cautious.
By the way, there have already been some changes. Originally, I had named the model house Okal Haus Poing as the basis and built upon that. However, with 1-2 well-intentioned deviations, which among other things were the reason for the changes.

Yvonne, does that specifically mean ... that you would place the utility room somewhere else separately?

If you find the pantry/kitchen area a bit odd. The pantry is intended to be walk-in... The kitchen otherwise also became narrower because a bit more space was created in the entrance hallway.

Do you find the dining area spacious enough? The pantry was already made smaller for that reason. The terrace door quite close to the dining table will probably only be usable as a sliding door. No door is yet drawn on the plan here. The projection was initially at the dining room but was later moved to the living room due to otherwise too small living room and better usage on the upper floor (bedroom with walk-in closet).

Yes, I would. Just imagine the room without the pantry.

By the way, there was initially no pantry at all. I find it useful on the one hand, but on the other hand, it is also an eyesore for me in terms of space. It restricts the dining area.

I understand the utility room. I would rather not sacrifice the office. Therefore, only the bathroom remains, which is actually almost too large for our expectations. About 10 sqm would be enough for us, but we have 14.5 sqm. So 4-5 sqm could be separated off as cleverly as possible. Maybe something like this?
