They probably call it fighting fire with fire, if I think about it from the perspective of the wellness-loving bathtub captain.

You have a large office downstairs, which also serves guests. I think setting up another office upstairs is nonsense, especially since I mainly need a utility room.

Yes, you're right. However, the room below should also be usable for 1-2 people over a longer period of time. Therefore, a small office is desired in addition, especially since I will probably be doing more and more home office.

It's really annoying that there are no dimensions indicated. How wide is the entire structure? Is the building envelope fully utilized in terms of width? And why is most of the terrace actually on the north side?

As it is now, it definitely can't stay that way because a utility room is needed. I consider it a sin to break up the bathroom upstairs or even integrate the washing machine there. That leaves only the ground floor, and in my opinion, this storage room next to the garage must be partially included in the thermal envelope. That's where the technical equipment will move in, and the washing machine will move into the current technical room.

If there is now a lack of parking spaces for bicycles, alternatively a shed must be added somewhere or the plan must be revised. But without dimensions, this is not possible.

Thank you for your input!

The plot is approximately 32x21m. House 12x8.5 + projection 1.25. Garage 6.5x6.5 + storage room 5.5x2.5.

The house is pushed as far as possible to the east border with 3m distance. The terrace area is only roughly drawn, but we might also appreciate an area in the north in summer. Besides, it is not visible there.

I had already thought about extending the technology into the storage room. Then unfortunately the storage room becomes too small as you also mentioned. But definitely a possible option. We would put a shed somewhere anyway. But I would like a basement substitute accessible from the house. Or at least one of the cars has to make do and stand somewhere under a roof...

Home office today mostly means WLAN, laptop, DECT headset. How many files do you have to go through while Aunt Luise is visiting for several days?
