In January, we bought a display kitchen. Tiles will be sampled soon. Additional costs with the GU have so far been limited. Only for the electrical installation have there been additional costs of about 3000 euros. Sanitary installations will probably also be a bit more expensive.

The slope stabilization around the property and house is secured with granite blocks in visible areas and L-shaped stones towards the property boundaries. Unfortunately, these costs cannot be postponed into the future and must be implemented gradually and promptly. Hopefully, the effort will be manageable.

Hello dear forum community,
attached are once again a few photos of our construction progress.
At the beginning of April, the PUR floor insulation as well as the underfloor heating mats were installed. Then the cement screed.

The ceilings were insulated and suspended.

Outside, we were able to continue working on the garage at the same time and implement the slope stabilization behind the house with L-shaped stones.

At the beginning of May, the house was scaffolded again and the plasterers applied the base coat as well as later the top coat. I was a bit worried about possibly discovering sloppy work in the morning's raking light. Fortunately, the guys did a good job. :)

Here the painter was already at work and painted the desired cappuccino tone onto the house for us.

At the same time, we were able to start inside with the wood-look tiles. Here in the living area and kitchen.

We keep the walls mostly white, except for a gray wall in the dining room/kitchen and a burgundy wall in the living room. The bedrooms also got a colored wall. For the wall construction, we decided on (good) Q2 with painter's fleece.

Outside, there were again major earthworks, and we were able to place the desired granite blocks around the house for slope stabilization, especially for the western terrace and garden. Additionally, a staircase next to the garage leads up to the rear northern terrace.

As you can see, we also decided on photovoltaics and installed just under 17kwp on both sides. However, a storage system was too expensive for us.

We are mostly done with the general contractor. The acceptance inspection has already taken place. Except for a few minor things, all work is completed. However, there are still some tasks to be done outside. We will tackle these in the coming months.

You have chosen a very beautiful shade for your house. It looks really nicer than the classic white and the view from your terrace must be amazing. The infinity pool is still missing :D
