And then the basement could even have windows in 3 directions (east/south/west). A garage integrated into the building structure is certainly not the cheapest solution, but it could be advisable in this case. Rooms + shower bath + entrance + garage in the basement, living + sleeping + bath in the upper floor.

Relocating a light pole costs money. I think we paid around 4k and that did not include transport or storage. It was just dismantling, laying cables, assembly, connection.

Your south-facing bedroom really won’t get cool. Better to use the upper floor and the northwest. The temperature difference in modern houses isn’t much between floors, rather between south and north.

I find 11an’s suggestion with the garage very charming.

Then call it the TV room :D

That was exactly our challenge when building – that’s why I even consider it. Kicking the "child" out of the utility room with noises is of course also a solution.

That’s how we solved it.

Good point.

Me too.

Confused or untangled?

Yes, we don’t know that. In your 3D view, a steep slope can be seen. With the program you used, you can model a corresponding slope across the entire width of the plot.
Why is the plot modeled so extremely? Because of the terrace? I would always plan the most straightforward (and usually cheapest) idea – with your idea, I would rather have pushed the garage under the terrace...

Exactly! 1/4 of a floor, with a "normal" house, with an entrance on the ground floor, a terrace on the ground floor... better than burying 1/2 a floor.

How about if you present ONE... THE plan with the height information?

So then, I have visualized it (not as nice as a professional program, but explainable ;))

I have roughly distributed the contour lines, if you say that the 2.50 height difference in the building area (I took the front area of the property) is distributed evenly.
A building volume similar to your house. The windows are only symbolic so you can see how much house you get with a slope.
For the garage, I would even say that it comes in front of the house to the east... maybe I'll visualize that again right away.
Slope in front, possibly supported, the same at the back. I have used both examples.

... and if my little figure doesn't want to float but use stairs, then at most towards the north terrace :)
