WOW!!! I really like the surprise bungalows so much :D I am only seeing the result now. I haven't followed this thread since last year. It turned out nice. I like the shape of the triple windows. Your natural stone wall is amazing. May I ask how expensive that was? But one thing disappoints me: why didn't you put the aquarium in the WC/LR partition wall? Then you could also have the fish view from the toilet :p

Thanks, but it’s not a bungalow. It’s a two-story building. Only the sleeping area is downstairs and the living area is upstairs.

Umpf. Expensive.
The ton cost us 70 euros (without setting). And one of those big chunks alone already weighs a ton.
There are a total of 85 tons. Further down, not visible in the photos, there is also slope protection made from the granite blocks.

Hehe. Once the aquarium is in place, it’s enough to see it from one side. You have more design options and the fish have more hiding spots.

Thank you. We saw the shade quite a while ago in a neighboring town and thought it would go very well with the gray window frames. I almost wished it was a shade darker.
Yes, the terrace has a really beautiful view of the Lauter valley.
We fell in love with this view already 4 years ago when we saw the property for the first time.
The property was relatively cheap to get, but you must not overlook the additional costs the slope swallowed.

I know that.
But on the (mostly) subordinate side, it always looks like a bungalow. I love that!

What exactly is planned there? Size, stocking?

It's a 650l tank with the dimensions 180x60x60cm. Last time I had a South America tank. It'll probably be that again. But I would also tend to an Africa tank sometimes. I have operated the tank before. However, it has been empty for the last 4 years. I have to test first if it's still sealed.
