I am currently having problems with our telecommunications house connection.
Fiber optic cable was installed into the house, but the provider is not making progress with further expansion in the area, and it is currently uncertain when it can be activated.
I already commissioned Telekom in February of this year to additionally and as a precaution lay a copper cable to the house.
But even here, despite multiple inquiries, Telekom is hardly making any effort to dig up the street and lay a cable.
I am now forced to order a mobile home spot for the time being, mainly because I work from home and am dependent on an internet connection.
Mobile home spots are significantly more expensive than comparable DSL providers, but we have no other choice.
My question about this:
Has anyone of you had similar problems or experienced this before? Isn't there a supply obligation on the part of telecommunications providers?
Or is a mobile data connection sufficient to be exempt from the supply obligation?!
