So it would be like this? I roughly drew the slope according to your 3D view.
South is flat, north is high.
Then the view to the west with a southern terrace would be more suitable, right?! Entrance in the east and then in the north a buried freezer room with living space on the ground floor, conventionally the bedrooms upstairs... or am I making a mistake in thinking? I know the garage is a mistake because it goes up there. But it could also be placed in the southeast. Then you also have privacy on the terrace.

Now my confusion is confused. The south slope descends quite evenly from north to south. That's why I oriented the long side of the house towards the south. Also so that the long side of the house plus the garage next to it already catch a large part of the slope without having to set additional L-shaped stones. If I were to position the house as you have drawn it, the house would be buried with the short side in the slope.

There is a very inconvenient streetlamp standing there. Swapping levels, yes, we have thought about it before but then discarded it. 1. The view wouldn't be as nice as the higher floor. 2. We really like to sleep cooler in the basement. 3. Our property opens towards the west.

So if the drawn outlines are supposed to represent the planned house location, then I don’t think much of it. I would make the garage entrance from the street, so the gate side to the east, and also move the development as far from the street as house 5 to be able to compensate for the slope on the driveway. I don’t feel like calculating, but I roughly suspect the garage would end up between the basement and the upper floor. I would make the entrance from above, and another entrance below for the holiday apartment currently occupied by the no-longer-a-child. I wouldn’t punish myself with a single-flight straight staircase that blocks the floor plan across the ridge direction of the narrow house.

I would be interested to see what the design would look like without the (possibly misunderstood) local suggestions.

If you don't want an entrance upstairs, I would at least partition off an entrance including a wardrobe downstairs. Your child can use the bathroom upstairs; later it will probably become an office, guest room, or hobby room. You could separate your private area and use a warm, clean central dressing room (wardrobe + built-in closet under the stairs), from which the bedroom and bathroom branch off. That way, you wouldn't have to walk through the "mess" and the mailman wouldn't meet you in your nightgown.
