Very nice Absolutely worth considering your suggestion. I'm currently on the go and can only respond briefly. But honestly, I find that.. very cool. :)

I'm glad… then I'll keep it in my program in case you have any further questions.

So, and now another idea: rotate the house only 45° (so that it is parallel to the street). Just Google "K2Architekten Glueckauf Vier," they solved it perfectly there. You would have to mirror it for you so that the entrance faces southeast, but I can easily imagine that.

Since you already noted it as a minor point anyway: forget the garage! A carport near the street and a nice pathway to the house, possibly with a branch to the basement/ground floor and upper floor. You have so much space, that feels much more natural and spacious. And of course, it significantly saves budget and eases access issues like heights, driveway, etc. And yes, you might get a few raindrops then... but is a 10m walk really that bad?

I probably wouldn’t do a garage either - only if absolutely necessary. I have now made a slightly larger house with a 15sqm utility room plus 3sqm storage room upstairs and tuned it a bit.. but still with a garage. Unfortunately, I can’t rotate the house. But you can see where it could be going.

Here in the Palatinate, it finally started at the beginning of summer as well. I have attached a few photos from the start in June up to October. and so on. It took a few weeks until the actual start, as we had problems with the grading...
