Garage floor tiles or 2K coating

Mother-in-law has a tiled garage. The same tiles as those laid in the basement. And no, there is no Lamborghini in there, just a Golf IV. On the one hand, the garage can be cleaned and swept very well; on the other hand, there are slippery spots in winter due to slushy snow. Personally, I would not have a garage tiled. Depending on the type of work, I would also have concerns under the workbench that the tiles might break quite quickly if a tool is dropped. The floor in our workshop was coated. It lasts quite long and is resistant.

There are many possibilities.
Flowing or natural stone must have high slip resistance and be quite thick due to the weight of the vehicles. Not exactly cheap.
2k coating with scattering is probably cheaper and faster.
Cast asphalt would also be an option.

Quick question about [2K]: Can it be done as a DIY project without any issues? What are your experiences? It doesn’t look that difficult on YouTube.

Don't forget to buy the appropriate hardener for it. Note that the EP must be mixed very precisely, if necessary with a scale. And EP has almost no smell, yet it is very toxic, harmful to the skin, gloves and a disposable suit are mandatory. Once cured, however, it is harmless and you could lick it.
