In the meantime, here is another draft in which I have undone some of the previous version and tried new things.

[*]No partition wall anymore for the living room, instead the corner was slightly reduced so that the furniture arrangement can be changed.
[*]Kitchen again horizontal, because it's possible and because we agreed that it looks nicer
[*]Niche by the "pantry" to create space for tall cabinet rows with fridge/oven
[*]Due to the slight shift of the stairs towards the top of the plan, the bathroom upstairs is now almost huge. I wonder if it's too big (approx. 3x5m)
[*]HAR still trapped for the time being
[*]The children's bathroom back in the north, partly due to the piping issue, which I suspect is hardly solvable above the dining room. Also because this way the distance from the children's rooms to their bathroom is nice and short.

Definitely an improvement. I would shorten the nameless - let’s call it - "junk room" a little bit in favor of the sofa.

And then you can consider whether to kill the storage room and instead shuffle the funny trio around once: Children's bathroom becomes HAR (remove the separation to the utility room, then a cabinet can fit where there are currently 2 doors), storage room becomes children’s bathroom, HAR moves to the study.

WC downstairs longer and narrower. Could work. Although a storage room is missing then, instead there’s a mega study for trapeze swings for two.

The living room should also not become too large so that the distance to the TV does not become uncomfortable/impractical. Currently, it's 4.2m, which is already more than what we have now. Or we plan directly with a bigger TV to compensate for that.

I consider "Rumpelkammer" to be an insult! Same with "Trapezschwünge."

I will think through and test the swirling. But that creates, for example, the problem with the children's bathroom above the kitchen and the associated pipe routing.

I'm slowly starting to worry about the amount of storage space...

So the 4.20m is pretty optimal. But a bigger TV is obviously cooler.

In the kitchen, there are pipes anyway where it drips a bit, due to the sink and dishwasher. So a wall with pipes has to be accepted.

Yes, that was the question whether you really need that much workspace. If yes, okay, otherwise having a "junk room" is always good.

I would enlarge the sliding window on the left side next to the dining area here; but otherwise, I find the draft the best.

Good point. Windows really hadn’t been planned here yet either.
