You do not achieve 260 cm clear room height with a 275 cm floor-to-floor height. You have to add the complete floor construction and the ceiling thickness to the clear room height. So usually at least 25 to 30 cm to the desired clear room height. The staircase then has to overcome the floor-to-floor height.

The performance specification states 275 cm clear shell construction height. If I understood you correctly, we have to subtract 25 cm from that and end up at 250 cm.
In the cross-section view, something about 262 cm is mentioned, which is presumably with screed without the floor construction.

Thanks for the clarification :) That's roughly how we wanted it, a slightly higher ground floor.

hm.... I think I would really reconsider the plan, even if you then risk losing the funding. I don’t know the building boundaries, but you have oriented the house or the living spaces to the southwest and the house itself is also stuck 3 meters to the south by the street, and in the west there is only about 8.5 meters of space to the neighbor. In return, you are giving away an insane amount of space on the east side due to the double garage, passage (?), and extension for the granny flat.

Look at how much bigger the west garden becomes if you remove the passage and place the granny flat extension differently. If you are allowed to move the house further north, I would do that as well.



And generally, I would orient the open-plan room to southwest-north, meaning definitely include the north side because that’s where the garden is. For me, a patio door in the kitchen wouldn’t be enough there. I would probably put the living room to the north (because that’s the most private area and you need the least sun there), the kitchen to the south, and the dining area in between.
