I would say quite generally, "you don't achieve clean code with patches". What was "generally demonized"? By the way, I wonder what kind of golden sofa should have such an immense residual or replacement value that you build the house around the sofa (?)

, no one wrote that, it’s nowhere here. I’m not going to go into that any further.

[*]Storage space in the kitchen is too little. [*]The seating counter with a row of stools at the hallway passage is awkwardly placed and takes up a lot of space – right behind it a dining table? [*]What kind of parapet is that between living and cooking/eating? [*]Wardrobe for three children and two adults is too small. [*]In the living room there is a dead corner between the sofa backrest and the door wall from the hallway. [*]Quite a labyrinth of doors on the ground floor – I count eight door openings/passageways? [*]The slanted wall in the work/bathroom is impractical. [*]20 sqm living room is rather too small for three children. Why over 20 sqm for two workspaces? [*]What does "gallery" mean on the upper floor? [*]Shower on the ground floor is impractical. Who is supposed to use it how? Most people want to shower where they can comfortably get dressed afterwards. [*]You want the washing machines where the laundry accumulates. I would want to have the washing machines where I can also hang up and fold the laundry. Maybe even iron. And where I can have laundry baskets standing. Not in a children's bathroom for three kids.
That as constructive observations/questions. Spontaneously from the gut: Horribly disharmonious facade views. The windows look as if they were tossed onto the facade.

A captain's gable without symmetry is simply botched. The gable is like a mirror axis. If you want to build from the inside out with a "who cares about the exterior view" attitude, then I would do it without the gable. Or place the gable towards the street, where it belongs – then you also have your windbreak sensibly structured, without the strange bulge in the interior.

Thank you for all the feedback! I read everything yesterday and discussed the questions. Especially regarding the windows and the facade, we have taken the helpful comments on board. I will try to answer the questions this evening as best as I can.

Regarding the kitchen, I would like to show a draft, because now the placeholders have been mentioned repeatedly. So far, we have only sat once in the kitchen studio and sketched on paper. Many things (where the sink is, where which appliances go, the exact lengths and distances, tall cabinets yes or no) have not yet been considered

but roughly like this.

For the bathroom upstairs, we are still searching for inspiration, especially because the window there is so tiny. This is a draft that we liked, where the window is then as big as everywhere else. (the slope is sketched by the black line).

Otherwise, we still have an appointment with the architect on Monday to address some of the points here again.

In any case, thanks a lot for all the feedback.

And the rest of the room? Just show how you would furnish the entire universal space. Or rather: draw it for YOURSELF.
