Maybe something like that - and then, of course, adjust the windows. Between the kitchen and the living room, I would put a half-height wall as a room divider.

Ok, thanks for the hint. There are no specifications on the rear wall: execution fully or partially in reinforced concrete —> can something be added here if there is no clause about additional costs with a fixed price? Likewise with the floor slab:
Floor slab on strip foundations 20-25 cm with frost protection skirt for soil pressure of 0.15 MN/m2 (as said, soil report is still pending, demolition is ongoing)
With the ceiling, there is also no additional cost clause in the scope of services description.

Thanks for the comments. The glass door was actually supposed to be a double-leaf loft door; why it is drawn differently now, I don't know, but then it makes more sense, right? The corner walls are probably intended to be half-height and then also fitted with steel frame glass, so that a connection between everything is created, but you can still close the door. I described the door to the utility room above, exactly my thoughts :) Regarding the basement, I will take a closer look at Myrna's suggestion. Originally, we had the living room at the front because, being further away from the slope, the lighting might be better, but maybe it really doesn’t matter.

Check if there is anything in the fine print like changes due to structural calculation not included.

I never added up what else came along between demolition and construction. There was quite a bit. A saddle here, something else there.
Clarify whether the wall on the slope can remain as slope stabilization. If it is demolished, the slope must be supported until the wall in front of it is finished.

Don't forget the outdoor area. Retaining walls and co won't be cheap

Or swap utility room and bathroom. That is probably easier. Then to the bathroom through the bedroom.
