I don't think the floor plan looks bad at first glance. I can imagine it quite well. But a few things would bother me. The situation at the staircase on the upper floor. In most cases, when coming up from the basement, you first enter the living area. But here you have to snake past the glass wall through the door. The whole area there remains poorly usable. Keyword: dressers, cabinets, pictures... In the entire living area, I would miss the space for furniture. Exterior door to the utility/housekeeping room. Why is access from the outside planned? With a bit of tinkering, it might perhaps be accessible from hallway 1. Interior doors are much cheaper than exterior doors. Like the previous speakers, I don't like the narrowness in the basement. This is not a nice apartment. The living room becomes a highway, and when I come out of the shower, I have to pass through the "dirty" entrance area. The floor plan has the potential for better arrangements in its initial situation.
Thanks for the comments. The glass door was actually supposed to be a double-leaf loft door; why it is drawn differently now, I don't know, but then it makes more sense, right? The corner walls are probably intended to be half-height and then also fitted with steel frame glass, so that a connection between everything is created, but you can still close the door. I described the door to the utility room above, exactly my thoughts :) Regarding the basement, I will take a closer look at Myrna's suggestion. Originally, we had the living room at the front because, being further away from the slope, the lighting might be better, but maybe it really doesn’t matter.
