I have already commented on some details like the toilet without a washing facility.
I don’t like the design either. Apart from the fact that it doesn’t explain how the ground floor relates to the basement (seems to be somewhat staggered), I find no structure. The children’s room door is next to the garage door. Considering that others worry about odors affecting their wardrobe if there is direct access from the hallway to the garage, which I find somewhat exaggerated, I still find this proximity a bit suspicious. Then there is the situation of stepping out from the open garage door against a wall and having to walk down a narrow hallway once around the staircase.
The staircase itself, squeezed between two walls, doesn’t make carrying groceries or laundry any easier.
With a princely 26 sqm bedroom, there should be room for a partition wall for a properly wide wardrobe. As it is, 10 sqm are simply wasted, and anyone dressing in the wardrobe area disturbs those still sleeping. The main entrance directly opposite the private area is also not exactly cozy; even when going to the bathroom, you have to pass the entrance. Due to the toilet’s location, it’s doubly so… do you actually get dressed again in between before then going to the bathroom to wash? The bathroom is too narrow for three people: if one is showering and another brushing their teeth, it gets quite tight in between.
I don’t find getting to the dining room bad; I actually have no problem with the room if the kitchen is given a proper island and more cabinets. But the situation of receiving guests and having to go down with them on a narrow ladder personally doesn’t please me. I also just noticed that the room is proportionally too long and can feel oppressive. Personally, I would lack some surface space everywhere, because furniture pressed into the corners like this has nothing to do with furnishing. The corner window in the kitchen is also unnecessary. The way the furniture is drawn, mostly corner pieces but only covering half of each wall, feels cluttered to me.
To bring something constructive to this* design:
Reduce the bedroom size and give the bathroom more depth.
Access to the bathroom and toilet around a corner via an anteroom. Give the living room access towards the staircase and space the staircase sideways.
Arrange toilets so that only one drainage shaft is needed.
Give the utility room more movement space and provide short paths to laundry, wardrobe, and drying options, possibly outdoors.
As for the *: The design is unusable because the staircase does nothing to create a sensible zoning (see comment about children’s room). Since the staircase is the most important element of the house, it should be consciously and sensibly positioned; only then can the rooms be formed.
