This property apparently has only one hillside street (in the west), to which I would orient the garage door side and thus drive into the garage from the east.

The street is to the west, from there the garage should be accessed.
The drawing from TE is always rotated, so west is at the top – TE wants to approach from the north, which is unfortunate.

On the left in the picture the street (up the slope), from which I would access the garage (blue here, I would prefer the "upper" position). Without any fancy driveway, placed as close as possible to the street (or with 5 to 6 meters more distance if the cars are supposed to stand in front of the gate during the day).

Yes, exactly, there is only this one street in the west. Below our property towards the east, it then goes down about 5-6 meters to the property below.

The garage door must be 5 meters away from the street if it is oriented towards the street. So I would have to set back an additional 2 meters.

I have already tried a version with the garage on the ground floor. Unfortunately, my husband did not like it at all because he cannot go directly from the garage to the tool room, nor can you carry groceries directly from the garage into the kitchen. Also, the PC room has no light and it is basically our main room :(

These would have been these here.

If you put the garage there , then you have to remove a lot of land and will have a sloping driveway from the street or an elevation difference .. in other words, the garage is not integrated into the basement.
