I would continue the kitchen countertop under the window, then add a 30cm or 40cm deep section on the wall partition and then a kitchen island with 60cm depth and a half-height wall up to the beam. Furnish as the floor plan suggests, possibly the sofa against the back wall of the kitchen. Then use the table as an extendable table. The screen would go on the wall. I personally wouldn’t do it across the room and would find it annoying in use.
In our previous apartment, we had a small studio with a mini kitchenette, which was set up just as you described. The red niche would be the window and on the right edge of the picture the large countertop along the wall to the bathroom would run.
The green "wall" was simply a torsion-resistant wooden board with a small shelf on top, the thickness of the pillar. Underneath was an LED strip for glare-free lighting in the living area.
Of course, this won’t be a large kitchen, but given the compactness of the room, it is very suitable and practical. Under the window, I would probably forgo a countertop so it doesn’t look too cluttered.
