Cabinet on the right side hides the hallway, makes the kitchen bigger. Cabinet above the pillar narrows the kitchen and focuses the entrance.

I understood the part about the same design as the kitchen. So you would place 180 cm cabinets with 60 cm depth in the hallway? I still don’t understand how this measure stretches the kitchen ... :) I tried to illustrate it in Visio – so you mean like marked in red?

Which size (and drawing) is “correct” now? – don’t forget: in your apartment you might be able to shift things around, but not the shaft that runs through several floors.

The plan with the larger bathroom is the current one.



I would also need to decide on the ceiling spots soon so the filigree ceiling can be prepared. The opinion on that here in the forum is divided. I was thinking about the entrance area, bathroom and kitchen. Or would you plan something completely different? There are also these track lighting systems.

Ok, then I understand now, thank you. We were thinking of a bench with storage in the entrance area along with an additional shoe cabinet. Above the bench, a clothes rail mounted on the ceiling to hang jackets on hangers. I thought a cabinet with a depth of 60 cm is a bit too large for the hallway and you would be "hit" by a cabinet as soon as you enter.

I am going to the kitchen planner later to discuss the next draft. The kitchen is currently designed in dark colors – we’d have to see if that doesn’t make it too dark/oppressive.

I understood that. Since we can only reasonably arrange the sofa in one way (because of the TV), the access to the kitchen has to be exactly at that spot. That’s why we prefer a double-row kitchen.

However, the kitchen has already changed somewhat, and the cooktop has moved toward the (slightly deeper) target direction of the living room. I have a visualization of it (created by the kitchen studio). May I post it here?

Hello everyone,

in the meantime, I have been to 3 different kitchen studios that were recommended to me by friends. All of them were really good and I had a good feeling with all of them – the agony of choice. :) Apart from different built-in appliances, the kitchens are very similar (also in terms of price). There are 2 designs planned each with Leicht kitchens and 2 with Schüller kitchens. In this context: I had the impression with the Leicht front (Bondi) that it really shows significantly fewer fingerprints than the Schüller front. Was that just the lighting or are the differences really that drastic?

Otherwise, we are currently trying out how best to arrange the furniture. The living-dining area is really challenging :) We are at 4 different variants. Do you perhaps have any other ideas? We would like to have a 1.80 meter dining table with 6 seats, but maybe the room just isn’t made for that. Variant D therefore has a 1.4 meter table with 4 seats.

why are you asking here and not in the proper forum (subforum for kitchen furniture), where those who have been selling both LEICHT and Schüller for years gather? No idea how many people in this forum have a LEICHT kitchen and can comment on it. Also, your information and pictures are not meaningful. LEICHT is qualitatively above Schüller and offers things that Schüller does not offer. If you compare like with like, LEICHT should be more expensive.
