You have planned the bathroom above the study. Keep in mind that you need to drain the bathroom; in the end, you will have at least one boxed-in piping section in a corner of the study. This could adversely affect the furniture arrangement.

In my opinion, the bed in the bedroom is drawn too small, or I do not recognize the proportions correctly.

Take a look at the catalogs of the solid house builders to see if you can find something suitable. Their floor plans are not that bad. Maybe you also have a model house park in the area or houses among your acquaintances.

Hello,

thank you very much for the answers.

If I interpret it correctly, then one solution would be to place the front door/the entrance on the front side of the house in the adjusted floor plan of the ground floor (which we actually want to avoid). This would create enough space for a staircase. We are grateful for further ideas, as we are currently trying to get used to the adjusted arrangement of the living room/the kitchen as well as the study!

Thank you very much.

Take a look at the Maxime 305 from Viebrockhaus, it is similar to your last design in principle, but you need to make the house a bit deeper than 10m, otherwise the staircase will be difficult.

Interpret?
The biggest problem with your plan is the upper floor – you don’t need to substantially change the ground floor without considering the upper floor. That doesn’t work like that.

Always consider both together!

@ Kisska86: Thank you very much for the hint.

Indeed, this floor plan is very close to our wishes (and ultimately our thoughts do not seem to be completely off).

What we do not need is the utility room on the ground floor in this size; in its place, the study could then be moved. This would allow the hallway and the guest WC (for the shower) to be designed a bit more generously.

On the upper floor, we had planned the same room layout - just mirrored. The question is therefore whether the bedroom can be swapped with children's room 1 and the bathroom with children's room 2. The former seems easier to do than the latter!?

Thank you very much.

Hey, we have just finished our floor plan, and I can tell you, it was really a tough birth! We also desperately need a large office, which was originally supposed to be on the ground floor. Now it has been moved upstairs, and we are quite satisfied with that. Ultimately, everyone has to decide for themselves... Spacious living areas were very important to us. I can also add to your floor plan that a width of at least 4.5m from couch to TV is recommended, so it doesn't feel too cramped... the men also want a decent TV.
