How about a landing staircase and roughly the floor plan?

By the way, the fireplace is in the living room on the right wall where the stairs also run. Then it is upstairs in the bedroom and does not get in the way either. You could build such a fireplace in there. Friends of ours have it like that and it looks really nice.

Thank you very much for the tip,

We have also already included the platform staircase in our considerations - therefore the floor plan is very suitable.

What came to my mind:
- I currently cannot see a storage room on the ground floor (but it might possibly be found in the kitchen?)
=> do your friends have enough storage space?
- spontaneously, I would prefer it if the TV/stereo wall is placed on the wall next to the staircase (and accordingly the couch would be turned).
- the guest/office room on the ground floor appears quite narrow
=> here I would rather extend the guest/office room towards the kitchen and use the "gained" space in the area of the guest WC for a storage room

We have meanwhile also discovered the floor plan at a prefab house provider - also with two passages to the living room and the kitchen (both probably initially without doors)

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

we have revised our floor plan once again and made the following changes:

- the longitudinal side of the house is now just under 11 meters (previously 10 meters)
- we have now chosen a landing staircase as the staircase
- a passage/door is planned between the kitchen and the hallway
- the upper floor is currently symmetrically divided

On the upper floor, we could live well with a smaller bedroom (due to the existing dressing room). We would like to give that space to the room in the northwest. We will still have to work on that a bit.

Thank you very much for your opinions.

Your staircase is not deep enough for a landing staircase, and with that, you can definitely plan anew at the bottom.

That's right! However, I don't really see the problem on the ground floor since the kitchen is anyway oversized and therefore the wall to the hallway can be moved (also the WC, but that would be another issue since the cloakroom is too small), so that you can simply move the doors accordingly upstairs to fit a landing staircase.

If you google the model houses of the most common suppliers, you will find this as well as very similar designs that would fit with just a few changes for you.
