??? Why??? If DG is in the East, you have the possibility to dash into the garden for a trailer

I see it like Yvonne, there would be enough space in the west.

What I generally wonder is, is it allowed to build the garage up to the property line facing the street?

Hello everyone,

there is a small detail that clarifies things (sorry):

In principle, the property can only be accessed by driving in the red area (see attached sketch), as the road is located at the height of the property there. The road slopes downhill. In the southeastern corner of the property, there is about a 2-meter height difference between the road and the property. The property itself is almost level.

I think and hope that the issue is clearer now!

Thanks & regards

That means there is a neighboring property above the plan and not a street?

Again??? You can drive onto the property from the north if nothing is built there and 3 or 4 meters remain free. However, the question is justified whether building up to the street on the east side is allowed. In that case, however, no carport, as shown in the drawing, may be built.

In fact, there is neighboring development to the north, west, and south, meaning there is no chance to access the property directly from these sides. Clearly, to the north, 3 meters remain free due to the boundary development. The house entrance should also be placed on this side, meaning if we do not build a garage or carport there, I would not pave this side all around the house (to also be able to get into the garden with the trailer), but rather design an appealing house entrance. So only the area marked in red remains to access the property.
