And the fireplace probably doesn't work either.
In the above it would probably block a door.

Best regards

That doesn't bring any benefit at all.

With the drawn plan and the position of the fireplace etc., I also don't find the kitchen overdimensioned, so that there is no space to squeeze in the stairs. Especially since it becomes tight with the room accesses on the upper floor.

Here again the example stair dimensions:

You see, with a floor height of 280 cm (this is usually only around 245 to 250 cm clear room height), about 225x304 cm space is already necessary for a landing staircase.

Hello everyone,

okay, then a half-turn staircase must be planned based on the underlying dimensions/room layouts - it fits the current hallway in terms of size.

The chimney would run in the current plan on the gallery, i.e. not "hidden" in any room. All doors are of course freely accessible - but actually not yet optimal.

Due to the existing dressing room, we could also make the bedroom smaller -> in favor of the children's room next to the staircase - we need to revisit this as well.

The chimney shaft would actually be in the middle of the upper floor hallway ... you should always mark something like that

Hello everyone,

the plans have now been adjusted again. The following points have been incorporated in detail:
- the area "Garderobe/Abstellkammer" has been modified
- the staircase is now drawn with its full dimensions
- the rooms on the upper floor have been slightly changed again (in particular, the dressing room now has its own door)
- the fireplace is now also drawn on the upper floor

Could you especially take another look at the pantry on the ground floor, which is currently integrated into the kitchen? Do you have better ideas here (maybe on the other side behind the fireplace)?
=> for access to the pantry, we are planning a sliding door.

We are generally not dissatisfied with the layout; besides the open positioning of the pantry, the storage space for a cabinet/sideboard in the living room still seems rather limited to us. Otherwise, we see no major possibilities for optimization.

Thank you very much.

I don't see a platform staircase that could work, I also don't see a chimney flue, at least not on the ground floor ([EG]) (there would be space, but on the upper floor ([OG]) it's in the hallway again) I see a lot of scarcity regarding doors on the upper floor ([OG]), and on the ground floor ([EG]) there are too many thoughtless walls. Sorry, but this is a standard floor plan that has been somewhat defaced. I also don't consider the changes to be well thought out, for example you can even quickly conjure up something better with the door situation for [AZ] and [WC]. I also consider the cloakroom to be pointless in this tiny size. How do you want to use it?
