A proper roof should still be added to the house, but the software cannot do that
The problem in my opinion already begins with the fact that one mostly uses software that has fancy visualization options. It can be helpful and exciting, but ultimately I often miss pencil drawings, graph paper with an eraser or Tipp-Ex.
What I also don’t quite understand is that nowadays you can find trillions of floor plans on the internet, and most of them even fit the needs of the "usual" family size, of similar age, and also similar financial range.
So why don’t you really pick a floor plan that more or less fits your plot? Such a plan can still be pimped in detail.
Yeah, the exterior view and facade – I would completely leave that out, even if it’s tempting with software tools; initially, it’s all about YOUR INDIVIDUAL floor plan, whose planning should not be constrained by external features! Currently, it seems as if you have seen various things and now want to throw them all into one pot (house). I say this by no means disrespectfully, because the exact same thing happened to me when building my first house!
If you each enter exact wall thicknesses, facing bricks, pipe runs, original furniture dimensions, many thoughts resolve themselves or reveal bottlenecks.
By the way, I would place the windows exactly where and how I need them, thinking from the inside out.
A nice exterior view or facade can then be designed in a variety of ways.
The windows in the living room currently slam against each other; the one at the counter ends up behind the back of the cocktail-sipping guest.
The upper floor including the stairs looks exactly like Tetris and not like planning. Unfortunately, these software tools often give the impression that they can replace the work of a planner; they do not.
These things seem playful and easy today, but they are not, because a good floor plan depends on countless parameters like location, sun, elevations, individual use, future planning, costs, taste, own decisions...
I also recommend completely letting go of the current thing called Plan (and the PC) once...
