More sensible or fitting, maybe. However, there might also be a connection here that the one with the biggest (= most expensive) plot ran out of money for the thick glass front ;) Aside from the fact that, for example, I wouldn’t build the thick glass front myself, even if I had the money for it :)

You have a cheerful imagination, I like that. This can be solved with a whirlpool in the garden. I think it’s good if the plots are not completely sealed. There’s nothing wrong with a small house on a larger plot. In my opinion, it is also not the right house for the plot. There’s no need to resort to the impractical square shape; it can be done much better. Sure, these cuboids have a particularly good price per square meter, but that is quickly offset when parts are pitch-dark and poorly usable.

No imagination, experience. My sons were at home for a long time and then also had girlfriends here.

A large property is great if you can make use of it. However, or precisely with very generous size, one can rather do without one or two meters in the rear garden in order, for example, not to have south or west-facing windows directly on the access front/street. With some distance, the feel-good factor is greater. Furthermore, some space in the front yard would also be advantageous: you don't have to constantly shuffle your cars, and a trailer, camper, or visitors would also have space. A front garden/complex/courtyard looks stylish too, as it definitely belongs to the garden area. Here, a second terrace in the entrance area would also be very sensible in terms of location.

"Second terrace" is exactly the keyword I had to think of earlier when reading

because that means, seen differently, that no part of this garden area gets shade or wind protection from the house. This play meadow may be quite nice sometimes – but when I think about it carefully: the desire to play soccer without floodlights in the evening glow is actually rare; on the other hand, one is often grateful for a cozy spot for an after-work beer; and a breakfast terrace belongs to every good wellness summer day's start.

In front of the house, there is also a nice invitation to chat with the neighbors.
