That was most likely because the others had roof tiles and not roof stones. It probably has nothing to do with the color.

No, not roof tiles but roof stones made of concrete. With red, you just see dirt faster than with dark colors. Roof tiles definitely look nicer for longer. We have many houses here that are 10-14 years old, and those with red clay roof tiles look much better than those with red concrete roof stones.

it was supposed to be a continuous strip of light, the structural engineer showed us the nonsense and where the window is interrupted, there is a steel beam. on the other side is the staircase + gallery. the door is a completely normal door, after seeing at our parents’ place how elaborate and costly it is to renew a door element, we just wanted a completely normal door.

Roof tiles are more susceptible to algae and moss than roof shingles, which you can see everywhere when you look at the houses. We have dealt with this topic for a long time because we did not like the dirty roof of our last house and this time we wanted a roof that stays clean longer.

I assume you have looked at plastic windows with wood decor? I ask because I personally like light wood decor and I hope to have to clean the frames less often than white frames. We will probably make it dependent on the surcharge.

There are plastic windows with wood decor?! When the time comes, we might take another look at them. So far, we only know wood frames, wood-aluminum, or plastic, and the latter in white or colored coating, but brown coating just looks like brown coating and not like wood^^

Depending on how much money you pay for them, they look more or less like wood. My sister-in-law has such windows and I think they are well done. Below is just a random example according to Google. It is not real wood but depending on the price range and degree of dirt, it is not obvious at first glance.
