Not easy... something you can argue about for a long time...
I'll just throw my opinion or some theses into the room
: More high-quality appearance?
Gray looks more like concrete... more high-quality would be this radiant white
Standard look, generally considered nicer? - Higher resale value?
Mainstream would be a white facade
Dark front door less prone to dirt
Yes, yes. Dust/birch pollen is clearly visible on dark surfaces. Inside, you can see fly droppings on white.
Cheaper (white windows cost us about 20% less)
Since they are not foiled, they are cheaper. Foiled ones with suggested wood grain look more high-quality in comparison
Facade does not look dirty as quickly?
But then it looks like no paint was available before the border opening.
Windows don't heat up as much (cracking/popping - we had that in the last house with dark windows)
We haven’t had that for the last 6 years.
More eye-catching look
Eye-catching is interesting, but doesn’t have to be nicer.
Maybe we can still distinguish ourselves with a special front door, e.g. wood (look) from the crowd.
Yes, I have thought about that too. In American renovation shows they do that quite often. The catch is again how far the man is willing to play along
So: I would choose white for the facade and then a different gray than anthracite. Light gray or there is a nice broken gray...
and because you leave the man his will with the white, you have the choice over windows and front door. For the front door, I would go for wood. We have one and it still looks as great as on the first day. Nice feel. Some also like to choose something eye-catching like red. Several here do that and it looks great.
