To be honest, my choice would be different. If I opt for the inexpensive line, then white windows, white door, gray facade, dark base. Plissees and other things set the accents. However, if I want to spend money to treat myself to something special, I would move away from white gray. Nowadays, that’s aesthetically as ordinary as silver metallic was for a while on cars or refrigerators. There are also PVC windows with very well-made wood foil on them, which is even textured. The combination of red and anthracite also works. For a building belonging to our administration, we have a white house with a red roof with an entrance clad with Eternit panels from 2018, asbestos-free, in slate as an accent. So, if it may cost something, for me it would also have to be something special. But one should never forget, most of the time I am inside the house. And seen from the inside, it all doesn’t matter.

Exactly, you are right there
It is difficult to find the right middle ground. We don’t want it to be boring and average, but at the same time it should not be so extravagant that we can’t sell it anymore.
I understand your feedback to mean that with a white facade and dark windows at least nothing can go wrong, as it is generally well or acceptably received by most people. I will also find it hard to change my husband’s mind on this point. I have to give him credit that he was very willing to compromise on the floor and kitchen. I think I will fulfill his wish here and negotiate something else for myself elsewhere
Besides, the front garden will still be planted and then it won’t look so dull anymore.

Does this example picture actually show your house now? With a wooden front door, there is a seven in front, whereas with an aluminum front door there is "only" a five – just as a rough guide.

Yes, this time it is our house but it doesn't look like this yet, we played around with a configurator over the weekend. However, it didn't cooperate that well, so just one color combination...
