I assume you have looked at plastic windows in wood decor? I ask because I personally like light wood decor and hope to have to clean the frames less often than white frames. We will probably decide based on the additional cost.- White facade and wooden windows/door -> we like them visually, but we preferred low-maintenance plastic window frames
Aren't there practical arguments in favor of your version? I assume that a white cleaned facade looks "grubby" faster than a light gray one. Our current house is light gray and although the facade is from 1950, you see little difference in color. It would be different with white.Unfortunately, all the male friends prefer the standard combo, so it would be even harder to convince my husband.

That was most likely because the others had roof tiles and not roof shingles. It probably has nothing to do with the color.no, definitely not as quickly as a red roof. We built our first house 18 years ago with red brass roof tiles, supposedly also with "Star-something coating" against moss, dirt, etc.. After 5-10 years, it then starts to get dirty, other roofs in the same new development that are anthracite look much better. Now the red roof is really dirty and for the second house we have chosen a burgundy roof in glossy. We would have liked to take anthracite, but it was not allowed. Best regards Sabine
