Experiences with online kitchen studios

It is still very general ;) .. Plans can really only be compared in detail. (Corpus height, grid division, drawer design, side panel design, etc.), that's why a "quantity" of meters doesn't say anything at all ;).

Hmm .. this kitchen would ergonomically fail for me. Main work surface between sink and cooktop always with back to the presumably open space behind the G-peninsula ... i.e. for me questionable open concept. The entire plan looks like at least 2x125x60 cm corner base cabinets with unspecified interiors. Cabinet height is also not recognizable, but rather an unsympathetically drawn handleless version or an unspecified 5-raster version. Sorry

It’s not an open kitchen either, but as you wrote, semi-open. So everything's correct :-)

It was the rough plan; I couldn’t find the detailed one anymore. Everything was already very well thought out. We looked at everything live.

The good thing about kitchens is, you never find one that you like 100% everything. It only has to please the client :-)

here is a brief interim experience report. Although we had actually decided on the Küchenhelden, we will now buy the kitchen from a local kitchen studio after all.

It turned out that the Küchenhelden's offer was incomplete. For example, a recirculation starter set for the induction cooktop with downdraft extractor was missing. In addition, the countertop for the kitchen furniture was planned almost 1 m² too small. This caused the price to increase by around 1 thousand euros, so that in the end, after tough negotiations, the local kitchen studios were significantly cheaper.

Facts and figures:

- 6.40m Häcker Systemat (2x 3.20m) 0.78m base cabinets for cooking island with drawers including 2 internal drawers.
- Oversized side panel ("floating" countertop and panel)
- 2.00m Häcker Systemat 0.78m base cabinets and wall cabinets for kitchen line with drawers and 1 internal drawer.
- 2.60m Häcker Systemat tall cabinets for kitchen line with drawers.
- 3x Häcker Move cutlery drawers in solid
- 20mm ceramic countertop (1x 0.75x2.00m; 1x 1.40x3.20m)
- Siemens iQ 500 induction cooktop with downdraft extractor and recirculation starter set

Küchenhelden: 25.8 thousand euros

local kitchen studio (with own carpentry): 24.5 thousand euros

local kitchen studio (affiliated with chain): 23.5 thousand euros

Therefore, Küchenhelden are out already because of the incomplete offer alone. The price is then the final knockout criterion.

The decision will now be between the two local kitchen studios. Stay tuned ;)

We already had this topic with the house. did not form a layman's opinion about liking or appearance, but criticized the ergonomics with expertise.

was or is? I can only once again give the advice to distinguish between subjective opinions and factual facts – even if it hurts to find oneself in the position of the "listener." I can’t say anything about the grid now, since the screens may distort some things. However, I can come with the knowledge that a spatial effect is rather disadvantageous if something is furnished higher than wider, unless it is deliberately staged. Here I would definitely pay attention to making sure that the upper wall cabinets don’t feel overwhelming.

- 2.00m Häcker-Systemat 0.78m base cabinets with extra depth (0.70m) and wall cabinets for the kitchen row with drawers and 1 internal drawer.
- 2.60m Häcker-Systemat tall cabinets for the kitchen row with drawers.
- 3x Häcker Move solid cutlery trays
- 22mm ceramic worktop (1x 0.75x2.00m; 1x 1.20x3.07m)
- Miele H2860B oven (3 full pull-outs)
- Miele G5050 vied4 dishwasher
- Franke undermount sink Kubus KBG160 Fragranit+
- Double socket in ceramic worktop kitchen island
- including cut-outs, delivery, and installation

Price: 21.0 TEUR.

Additionally, we will provide ourselves:

- Siemens iQ 500 induction cooktop with downdraft extractor and recirculation starter set
- Siemens iQ 500 fridge/freezer combination
- Faucet for sink
- Waste collector

In summary, we come to a total price of 24.7 TEUR.
