Well, you can go through several kitchen plans without buying a specific kitchen yet. Then you already know where which cabinet and which appliance will go without deciding whether you want two, three, or four drawers and whether the large cooking pot should go more into the pantry or under the freezer. The stove connection, sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator should be fixed with ±1m. Then you can already set that. Distribute power outlets at countertop height somewhat sensibly; you can always derive one that is absolutely necessary from that.

Yes, we have already figured that out so far and planned with the Ikea planner so that what we imagine fits into our floor plan. However, where we buy the kitchen from is not yet decided. But for the work planning, which is the week after next, we were asked for the kitchen planning and now we are a bit scared that we might do something wrong. We already know exactly where we want the appliances, but we have never had a kitchen island and of course we don't know now if there is anything special to consider with the stove on it. But it will be fine.

A proper power connection is needed, from the floor ... with us, the general contractor wanted the electrical plan for the kitchen from the specialist for the execution planning. You might have to buy the kitchen a year before moving in ;)

I had also fully planned the kitchen for the building application meeting, as the electrical planning was included there as well.

We are now also buying the kitchen 1 year in advance. We want to avoid this year's price increase with this.

In addition, the kitchen can be replanned free of charge by the studio up until the order is placed with the manufacturer in the worst case.

For us, it was also about a year before the targeted moving-in date, but less because of planning the electrical and plumbing connections and more because of the possibility to at least partially adapt the house to the kitchen. There is now a niche that fits the desired standard cabinets to the centimeter. Without the corresponding kitchen planning, we would probably have been one or two centimeters short, which wouldn't have been a major issue but would have meant a cabinet ten centimeters narrower and correspondingly more paneling.
