Yes, the island looks fancier standing freely like that, I agree with you. And maybe the sink in front of the window is also great for looking outside while washing up. I am a bit put off by the awkwardness (only possibly operable with the faucet or only one-sided) and dirtiness (water splashes on the window are more noticeable than on a backsplash). I also find a completely freely accessible window, possibly with a herb box directly on the windowsill outside, somehow good. We had discussed placing the stove next to the tall cabinets, but then we have to move significantly out of the corner or lose a tall cabinet... well, I don’t want to hijack here. I can report on the further progress in the other thread

I also got a first offer from Küchenhelden. The first consultation was quite pleasant, but they are pretty eager when it comes to follow-up questions. Call... if you don't answer immediately, a text message and then an email right away, I don't really like getting stressed out by that kind of thing.

We are planning a Häcker Systemat with about 8 meters of cabinets (of which 1.8m is a tall cabinet, no wall cabinets). Natural stone countertop Nero Assoluto. Bora Pure, Miele full-size refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, and Miele oven with pyrolysis. 80cm Silgranit sink and black faucet. Distribution 8500 furniture, 7200 appliances, 2700 countertop, 3700 installation (all net) --> 23.7 k gross

We will decide on the local studio.

I can specify the comparison a bit (!):

Local kitchen studio: Xeno (Nobilia) with Maxicorpus, same stone, same handle version, same layout, Bora Pure X --> 23 k

Now, with the online studio with Häcker, the cabinets might have been higher quality, lighting would have been included, but I still wanted to stay with the local studio... And hopefully next year we will have a great kitchen :D
